1、需要对考官问题进行转述么？
Should we use synonyms instead of wordsthat the examiner used in the question?
我们应该使用同义词代官问题里所用的单词吗?
For example, if the question is "Doyou think your weekends are long enough?", should I use synonyms for'weekend' and 'long'? You probably won't have time to think of synonyms orparaphrasing in the speaking test. Also, if you try to paraphrase words like'weekend' and 'long enough', you are in danger of giving a very strange answer(don't say "My Saturdays and Sundays are sufficiently lengthy"!!).Just answer the question in a natural way e.g. No, my weekends are too short. Iwish they were longer.

举个例子，如果问题是：“你觉得周末时间够长吗?”我是不是应该用同义词代替“weekend”和“long”。口语考试中你可能没有时间去想同义词和释义。当然，如果你试图用同义词"weekend"和"long enough"，你就有处在可能给出一个奇怪的的危险之中了(不要说我的周六和周天足够长)。用自然的方式回答问题，例如：不，我的周末太短了，我希望周末有更长的时间。


2、P1问题数量有多少？

Is it possible that the examiner will onlyask six questions in part 1?
part 1部分考官有可能只问6个问题吗?

No. In part 1 the examiner must ask all ofthe questions on his/her question sheet, and there will be around 10 to 12 questionsin total.
不，part1部分考官必须要提问他/她问题表上的所有问题，他们总共会问10-12个问题。

3、P2需要覆盖每一个点么?
Do we need to cover every point on the cuecard in speaking part 2?
partw2部分需要覆盖话题卡上的每个点吗?

No, you won't lose marks for missing one ortwo of the points. However, the points are there to help you structure youranswer, so I recommend that you try to use them.
不用，少答一两个点不会失分的。但是，这些点有助于构造你的，所以建议大家试着使用它们。

4、可否要求考官重复问题?

Can students ask the IELTS examiner torepeat a question?
考生可以要求雅思考官重复问题吗?

Yes. They can say something like: "Sorry,can you repeat that please?". It won't affect your score if you do this.
可以的，他们可以这么说：“对不起，可以请你重复一下吗。”这样做不会影响你的分数。

5、讲清楚问题

Can students ask the examiner to clarify aquestion?
考生可以要求考官讲清楚一个问题吗?

Not in part 1 or 2. The examiner can onlyrepeat the same question in part 1, and refer you to the task card in part 2.In part 3, it's fine for students to ask for clarification e.g. "Sorry,I'm not sure what you mean by that". The examiner is allowed to rephrasethe question in part 3. If you ask for clarification once, it shouldn't affectyour score, but don't do this too many times!
不管part1还是part2都不可以，考官只有在part1部分可以重复相同的问题，提示你part2的内容。在part3，考生可以寻求帮忙："对不起，我不确定你那句话的意思".考官可以转述part3的问题。如果你提出这样的要求，不会影响你的分数，但是次数不要太多。

6、定义词汇

Can students ask the examiner to define aword?
考生可以要求考官定义一个词汇吗?

Again, only in part 3. The student couldsay: "Sorry, could you explain what you mean by... (unknown word)?"
强调一次，只有在part3部分，考生可以询问：对不起，可以帮我解释一下...的意思吗?

7、请求更多时间

Can students ask for more time to think?
考生可以请求更多思考的时间吗?

I don't recommend doing that. Students losemarks for long hesitations, so it's best for them to practise answeringquickly.
不建议这么做。考虑太久会失分，好是尽快回答。

8、跳过问题

Can students ask to miss a question inparts 1 and 3?
考生可以跳过part1和part3的问题吗?

They can, but they will lose points, so Idon't recommend doing this. It's always best to attempt an answer.
可以，但是这样会失分。所以不建议大家这么做，好尝试给出一个。

9、要求换话题

Can students ask for a different topic inpart 2?
考生可以要求更换话题吗?

No. They must take the topic card that theexaminer gives them.
不可以，他们必须回答考官给他们的话题卡。
